Empowering BAU Students to Excel Globally

Bangladesh Agricultural University Career Club (BAUCC) is a non-profit, voluntary organization independent of politics, religion, or race. Formed to bridge the gap between students and industry leaders, BAUCC aims to turn BAU into a hub of visionary change-makers.

The idea of founding BAUCC was initiated by Tanmoy Kumar Ghose, a graduate of Agricultural Economics. Observing the lack of effective career guidance at BAU, Tanmoy, along with his team members — Intisar Awal Prio, Md. Sanowar Hossain, Md. Mehedi Hasan Sourov, Md. Asifur Rahman, and Bappy Majumder approached Dr. Hamidul Islam, Assistant Professor of the Department of Farm Power and Machinery, who agreed to become the club’s president. Tanmoy officially established the club on October 25, 2017, by creating the Facebook group “Bangladesh Agricultural University Career Club (BAUCC).”
